As the founder of Bravely, Kara speaks around financial literacy and curates events to support women in achieving financial freedom. Courtesy of her quarter life crisis, Kara realized that her lack of financial education was crippling her adulthood. Kara paid off $25,302 in loans on a salary of less than $30,000, the final $18,000 in just ten months. She has curated pop-up financial literacy events nationwide and has successfully created the podcast, The Fairer Cents, which was named a top money podcast by Forbes.

She is based out of Austin, TX and is a writer who focuses on personal finance, financial empowerment for women, and travel; she has been published by Glamour Magazine, Business Insider, ABC News, Lifehacker, Essence Magazine, Learnvest, and Elite Daily.
